Petition Against Proposed Title IX Changes

The D.C. College Democrats write to express our concerns regarding the newly updated Title IX regulations issued by the Department of Education on May 6, 2020. These new regulations contain dangerous provisions that go against best practices, tip the scales against survivors, and jeopardize tens of thousands of students' civil right to an education free from discrimination and harassment. We, the D.C. College Democrats, fear that these changes drastically reduce protections for survivors of sexual assault and discrimination.
